We're all the same, yet so very different. I read something that really pricked my conscience recently, partly because it's something that REALLY bugs me about people, and partly because I know I'm guilty of doing it.

It basically observed that it's immensely sad to think people spend even a precious second worrying about other peoples appearance.

It's true.

How we choose to express ourselves, how we look, how we dress, our piercings, tattoos, fake tans, hair extensions, or our decision to not have these things is absolutely our choice. No-one should be judged on something so intrinsically personal. And no-one, absolutely no-one, should allow themselves any time spent getting upset by the appearance of another.

Told you it bugged me.

Be yourself, and love that everyone else is being themselves too. If you think you have a sense of style is any better than anyone else, you are so very wrong; when you say better, you actually mean different.

Deal.
I've seen the funniest things recently.

The man desperately trying to get his son to choose a Ben 10 comic in the newsagents; there was a free robot thing and Dad clearly had his eye on it.

The elderly lady who turned to me in a queue, where she was waiting to pay for a giant bouquet of flowers, and said "I'm buying these for myself you know; no bugger else will."

The latest Season of True Blood, what's with all the wolf pyjamas? No-one summarises better than i09, HERE

Fathers Day; not what it used to be

Is this where we're headed?   You may never order pizza again

How funny. I completely agree and the lady buying herself flowers is great.
